When I watched the movie “The Lion King” before, I always felt that the lion was the best on the grassland. I have been to Africa several times to see animal migrations. Once I was in Kenya, the weather suddenly changed, lightning and thunder, all the animals were running, even the lion ran away, only the elephant did not move. I said to myself, why is the lion so timid? Those little animals ran away as soon as they thundered. Why did the lion ran away?
Later I discovered that on the grassland, lions and elephants are two extreme species. Among carnivores, the lion is the “king.” In the entire animal world, carnivorous and herbivorous animals add up, and the elephant is the “king.” This is very interesting.
Elephants eat differently from lions. Elephants eat grass. Grass is supplied in large quantities. There is no need to fight with anyone. But elephants have to be diligent and eat all the time. As a result, they grow to be the largest. Lions are just the opposite. They eat the last meal without the next. They eat one meal for four or five days, but they eat dozens of kilograms of fresh meat at a time.
The lion’s survival is always based on the premise of killing other animals-“you die and I can live”; while the elephant is “everyone lives, but I am more diligent than you”. The life philosophy of these two animals is different.
In addition, the lion is always “preemptive”, otherwise it will not be able to eat, so the lion will always eat a running animal. The elephants always stay there, “latency”, they never take the initiative to attack, even if the opponent is a much smaller animal.
I just thought that a person who does not fight with others and does not attack others can become the best person. But it seems that this is not enough, you are like this, if others bully you, you must also have the capital of late development.
How does the elephant “after-game”? First, self-protection. Its skin is several centimeters thick. Lions can’t chew it down. Elephants have “armor”. Second, an elephant can pick up an “enemy” with its nose and teeth and throw it to death. Third, the elephant weighs a few tons, and the “enemies” that can’t be thrown are smashed. The elephant walks over and squashes the opponent. The above points are very simple-guard, pick up, squash, there is nothing redundant.
I have learned a kind of wisdom from the elephant: if you want to maintain your position as a strong player in the competition, you only need to do three things well: First, don’t fight, what you do must not be “you live or die”. , We must do something “everyone can live”. Second, we must protect ourselves. Thirdly, nothing will cause trouble, and there will be no fear of trouble. When you encounter a challenge, you fight back. When you want to kill the opponent, you must not make extra moves. You must end this matter in the simplest and most effective way.
I think the company or the individual should be like an elephant. “The Tao Te Ching” says that “husbands do not fight, so the world cannot fight with them.” Elephants are a typical portrayal.
“The Tao Te Ching” repeatedly says “the weak beats the strong”, which is also reflected in elephants. The elephant is most afraid of ants. Ants will look for a cool place in the summer when it is very hot. Where is it cool? Inside the elephant’s trunk. First, there is mucus in the elephant’s trunk, which is moist. Second, elephants breathe with wind, which is called a hurricane for ants. But when the elephant breathes, the wind sucks a group of ants into the elephant’s trunk. Once the ants get into the elephant’s respiratory organs and esophagus, the elephant faints, then collapses, and is hungry after falling. Thirsty died.
So, this reminds me one more thing: the biggest things in the world should be guarded against the smallest things. When you feel that you are very powerful, you must pay attention to it. It may be the smallest thing, the smallest thing that kills you. You have to remind yourself that it is not your enemies that kill you, but the people who lived with you and were closely related to you.
In this way, the fate of the elephant is very interesting: the lion can’t do anything to it, but it is killed by the tiniest friend that he sees every day. The elephant didn’t know how many ants had been trampled to death, and the ants didn’t even think about revenge on them. They just killed the elephant to cool off for a while.
