Who would not know the waist monastic order in Hungary, the members of which wear white robes? Who wouldn’t know that slander never dropped a stain on this bright white cloak? But if he wanted to list their praise, the public could write the bright white paper with it. They are disseminators of science, exemplary of good morals, they are zealous apostles of religiosity; and beside him are followers of the homeland and good brothers of those of different creeds.
… In 1848, twenty-two young students were members of this monk, all scientifically educated excellent young people.
The blood-wasting era came, a cry for help was heard throughout the homeland, penetrating every closed door and fenced wall.
The home called his sons to arms. He did not call for rebellion. On behalf of his anointed king, a legitimate government called on the men to protect law and constitution, to restore internal order.
Then there was no need to set up categories, who has a vocation to stay at home? to a doctor, student, priest, procrastinator? for they would not have stayed home anyway. The flags were gathered under the landlord by the landlord’s son and the doctors and students, priests and proclaimers alike.
Twelve of the twenty-two young students of the white friends said goodbye to the convent at one time to come to defend their home.
They did not escape, they did not redeem me; announced to their Guards that they wanted to go into the army, s-11-the Autumn Guardsian made them order chariots for them, baked food for them to travel to the camp, and when they sat on their chariots, he kissed some of them and gave them a blessing; and he looked after them with blinding eyes, while in the distance he could see the dust of their cars.
He cried even after he returned to the convent.
One of the ten students who remained there began to comfort him not to cry, for they were still here.
“I mourn, the decent agg replied that you had stayed here.”
Along with the departed was the blessing of the old Guadian. They all fought valiantly, gaining laurels, officer rank, news, name; they prospered in every battle. With a few heroic deaths; they received the most real blessing, the happiest.
For one day after that the end of the struggle, the glory, and the survivors had great reason to envy those who, seeing a free country, closed their eyes forever.
The flower of the nation, floating on the surface, hurried down to the bottom. Forests, woodpeckers, woodpeckers echo the slogan: «qui bene latuit, bene vixit».
Those who remained of the twelve young men hurried back to the convent; the weapon was knocked out of their hands, they had to continue the fight for the life of a nation with another weapon; with the weapon of science, on the battlefield of the spirit.
They put on their white cloaks again and continued the scientific work where they had left.
They became excellent, scientific people, lucky to have a workshop that could win a teacher from them. Its students also showed spiritual perfection in all sectors.
It was then that the ultramontane agitation, the Jesuit settlements, began in Hungary.
For years, we have been witnessing the calculated cruel persecution of what this waist Roman kath is. -12-ecclesiastical teachers of the ecclesiastical order were the targets of the ultramontane hierarchs.
This persecution lasted until the friends of the Jesuits removed the most prominent teachers from their departments, completely depriving them of their authority.
And these teachers were Catholics, but because they did not want to hide their liberalism, because they did not seek backwards but forward in their scientific progress, because they were strong-minded patriots: , nor their merits: they had to bury themselves within the walls of their convent; even now he could find them there, who would not consider it an unnecessary effort to set out in search of spiritual treasures.
There was a soon-to-be-heard noise about a ghost in Burg last year that appeared in the form of a white woman at midnight in the hallway of the imperial library to scare the poor silbak to death. The white woman was haunted in Burg for several nights in a row, until one day the whole soul was officially demented. It was a fairy tale. The front pages were buried.
And yet it was not a fairy tale, but a perfect reality.
Three days in a row a white-clad lady figure appeared, with a marble white face but distinct features, a lamp in her hand, a burning candle in it, the flame of which flared but did not cast a world on the wall; the figure walked from one door of the corridor to the other, ignoring the summoning of the guard soldier, and disappeared at the second door. The next night, the guard, not paying attention to his cry, fired at the figure as well; the ghost disappeared without a trace. On the third night, two guards were deployed; the horror also appeared before them; they also shouted at him: then they shot him through, until the white woman did not disappear, but stopped and looked straight into their eyes. From this ghost watching, one of the guards, a muscular, strong Moravian hunter, collapsed faintly.
After the fourth day, the lieutenant serving in Burg himself occupied the ghostly guard station. He didn’t carry a rifle or a pistol against a woman like a gavaller man, he just stood in the ambush. At twelve o’clock the bell of the church of Stephen rang: and there stood before him-14-white woman, and began to move quietly. The officer was a brave man, hurried after him, caught up; at that moment the white woman turned back and held the lamp in front of the officer’s face.
To this the officer got to grab his hand, and wrapped his other arm around the white woman’s waist, – then the white woman disappeared: the officer grabbed and hugged her – nothing.
At the moment of her disappearance, she felt as if the white lady had pressed a cold kiss to her lips.
Even if our officer had been a mousquetier officer of the last century, he would have had a duty to fall ill and die from this ghost kiss; however, as military officers nowadays also study chemistry and optics, the lieutenant did not reach out with that ghost vision, but began to examine the corridor doors and windows, and once looking out the window of the corridor, he noticed that one of the third floors of the house opposite Burggal unusually brightly lit. He immediately hurried down to the guardroom, took two soldiers by his side, went over to the house opposite, and asked the janitor who lives where the window is lit? A photographer. The officer immediately hurried to this accommodation, did not ring, but broke the door, nicely surprising the entire ghost-making apparatus there. The large mirror glass, with the help and lighting of which the ghostly female figure was walked through the corridor of the Burg through its corridor, and even the white woman herself, whose picture was still painted with chalk. But now she could really catch it, if she didn’t want it from her kiss.
The thing became an inquisitio: the photographer did not direct that bold joke out of his own amusement, but then so many high-ranking people got involved in the investigation that they thought it good to stop it and belittle the whole ghost story.
It was all the maneuver of the ultramontane party: such -15-with a single-minded hocus pocus, they wanted to intimidate the ruler from the liberal direction.
To those who knew this thing, he was commanded not to talk about it. But that the secret was not kept well is a testimony that we also learned it.
