Coca-Cola was invented by John Pemberton, a pharmacist and a veteran of the American Civil War who was injured in the Battle of Columbus. Like other injured soldiers at the time, John used morphine to relieve the pain of the wound. Like other injured soldiers at the time, he became addicted to morphine. After the American Civil War, the problem of soldiers becoming addicted to morphine was very serious, so this was called “the army’s evil.”
When John Pemberton sought to solve the addictive method, he invented a drink called “Pemberton’s French Grape Coca”, which was mixed with wine and cola nuts and coca bush to extract cocaine. His drink is similar to another drink called “Mariani”, which is a mixture of wine and cocaine. However, these two beverages are not enough for the treatment of morphine addiction.
In 1886, John’s county’s updated legislation restricted alcohol sales, so he stopped using the alcohol in Pemberton’s French grape coca. Later, he sold a new non-alcoholic beverage made from a mixture of sugar, coca leaf and cola nuts, and used as a medicinal drink to treat morphine addiction. John built a company to produce the drink, but then he sold his shares. The new boss thought of several names, including “Koke” and “Yum Yum”, before determining the name “Coca-Cola”.

The bubble film wrapper was not initially used as a protective film for goods in transit. It was invented in 1957, when Alfred Fielding and Mark Cavendier stitched two shower curtains together. However, the idea was not successful, and the two of them went back to drawing on the board and decided to sell the bubble film packaging as a greenhouse insulation material. This incident also ended in failure. Soon after, a marketer called Frederic Bowers advertised that at IBM (International Business Machines Corporation), bubble film packaging was used as a protective device and shipping process on the IBM 1401 model computer. It plays a protective role. IBM purchased and used bubble film packaging, packed 10,000 computers and shipped them, which changed its fate as wallpaper.
High heels
